Andy is a licensed psychologist and available for office visits as a sole practitioner on Bend's westside. He has maintained a private practice in Bend since 1999, which is divided among different activities, reflecting his skills and interests. As an embedded psychologist for the local police and fire departments, he provides our first responders with support, training, and crisis intervention services [click here for recent report by The Source Weekly]. Andy also maintains a private therapy office serving older adolescents and adults. In this domain, Andy brings a passion for helping people find their unique path through life-stress, depression, and anxiety to experiencing more personal awareness, peace, and confidence. In his free time, Andy enjoys mountain biking, trail-runs, fishing and any other activity leading into the trails or waterways. There is always something to see, experience, and taste around the next twist of the trail, bend in the road, or over the next horizon.
Dr. Montoya is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology to practice general (adult) psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine. Her residency and fellowship training were at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas where she worked in a number of settings including the UT University Hospital, The Audie Murphy Veterans Administration Hospital, Santa Rosa Children's Hospital, The Southwest Neuropsychiatric Institute and Wilford Hall at Lackland Air Force Base. Her primary focus is evaluation of psychiatric illness and treatment with medication, and she refers patients to a psychologist or therapist for psychotherapy or behavior modification as needed. She has lived in Bend and has had a part-time, private practice since 2005.
Dr. Barrett is a physician specializing in psychiatry and currently has had a private practice in Bend Oregon for 12 years. He is Board certified in General Psychiatry from the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He also Board certified by, and a Diplomate of, the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He received his MD degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University in 1991. After an internship at the University of Connecticut, he completed a psychiatric residency at the University of Washington in 1995. He has had extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry at Harborview Medical and St. Charles Medical Center. He currently provides psychiatric consultations including medication evaluations for young adults and he has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams with other physicians and professionals. For more than 20 years, he also has trained medical students in psychiatry .
Dr. Monteverdi graduated with a B.S. in Neuropsychology from the University of California Davis with honors and received his medical degree from Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. He was then accepted into the University of Washington’s Neurology residency program. After an internship in Internal Medicine and a year of residency in Neurology, he switched to and completed his residency training in Psychiatry. He moved to Bend in 2005, served the St. Charles healthcare system for four years in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, and has since been in private practice in Bend.
Dr. Monteverdi's areas of professional interest include neuropsychiatry, multiple modalities of individual psychotherapy, existential/spiritual exploration, and mindfulness practices. He enjoys working with all patient types within the scope of general adult psychiatry. Outside of work he enjoys biking, skiing, reading and spending time with his family.
Dr. Campbell is a psychiatry specialist in Bend who graduated with honors from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 1973. Having more than 45 years of diverse experiences, especially in psychiatry, Dr. Campbell is affiliated with the St. Charles Medical Center-Redmond and collaborates with other medical specialists in diverse fields.
Dr. Hofeldt is a psychiatrist in Bend, Oregon and is affiliated with the St. Charles Healthcare System. He received his MD degree from the Albany Medical College. He and his father, also a psychiatrist, are nationally known for their care of healthcare professionals.
