Oregon has had one of the lowest opioid overdose death rates in the United States, and Deschutes, Jeffereson and Crook County of Central Oregon are among the lowest counties in Oregon. Moreover, Oregon has the the greatest decline in opioid overdose death rate of all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and Central Oregon is leading that trend.
